Post Year Three Semester One update

It's been a while since I made my first post, but it's time for an update now.
A lot of things have happened since then. I've finally finished all of my school work. FYP, assignments, tests, showcases, all of them are done. I can't say that I'll do well in all of the yet, but I hope to God that they'll turn out well come Monday when I'll get my results, Amen? With that said, there's one subject I'm pretty sure I'll do well in, considering I did well for the first test, the second was even better, and I heard that my assignment was well done. I'm hoping to get a great grade for that module. FYP has the most credit units, so if I do not get a good grade for that, my GPA would be weighed down.
I also went to see several movies; "Baby Driver", "Spider-Man: Homecoming", "Dunkirk" and "American Made". I enjoyed the former the most with it's well-executed action sequences and great script, though "Dunkirk" was excellent as well.
Not too long ago I also went for a short vacation to Malacca where I tried the food there such as their chendol. To no surprise, it was better than that in Singapore. There weren't that much places to visit there though.
I also finally managed to be accepted by a company for my internship, a problem I had since July. I will not go into detail about it, but I'm just glad I'm accepted.
It was a great time for indie music as well, as The War on Drugs, LCD Soundsystem and The National all recently released albums, all of which are great. My favorite of them was The National record, but those who know me well should know that it is no surprise. Their heart-wrenching and well-written lyrics, Matt Berninger's great baritone vocals and the awesome (and at times melodic and/or beautiful) instrumentation are always a winning formula, deserving them the critical acclaim they've been receiving for years. The other two albums were also awesome instrumentally.
Hopefully I'll do well in my internship come October, and I hope that my life gets better as I move on with my daily life.
Until then,
Daryl
